From the feedback we received – our first live stream went well. There were some screen freezes that some people found on the ROKU. We’re checking to see if there is anything we can do to help, but in most cases it is slow wifi or internet. Some people were able to switch to a computer or mobile device instead of a ROKU.
We have also setup a youtube channel, However it is not working at this time. We will post the website and directions here when we get it up and running.
Our website should also have the live stream available, but we haven’t tested yet so we can’t promise it will be live. The best thing about the website is that the live stream will be available for viewing after the service is over.

Live Video Stream this Sunday (March 22, 2020). If all goes as planned we will be Live streaming the morning sermon.
There are a few ways you can watch the sermon:
- The best way to watch the stream is by using a ROKU on your television. If you already own a ROKU or ROKU television – just download the Sermon.Net app for ROKU. Once it is installed you can search for sermons by Davenport First Baptist and you’re ready to go.
- The second option is to use a mobile device (like your iPhone or iPad) – download the Sermon.Net app – once it is installed – search for sermons by Davenport First Baptist Church and you should be ready to go.
- Third option works but you will need a computer or laptop – go online using a web browser, go to the sermon.net website look for the “Public View and Listen to Videos” once you’re in – search for sermons from Davenport First. Click on this link and it will take you to Sermon.net and enter “Davenport” in the search field. The first link should be the link for live streaming.
This is our first attempt to go live, so who knows what will happen. However, if you do watch at home – please let us know how it looks.
